So today I got to go out to the company that was supposed to help me get a job to meet with the support person I've got, only to arrive there and learn that she's out with strep throat, fwee spent an hour getting there just to find she's not there. But she left stuff for me to do anyways! And so then I got to talk with another fellow who views people as products to sell to businesses, so as to get them employed. It was a rather interesting conversation, had some insightful things to be said. However he thinks that for me to be able to get a job I need to cut my hair. Now I can understand this because of the double standard that exists regarding men having long hair and blah blah blah, but good god, I've been growing this since what? My sophomore year of high school, so that's about... seven years. It's a part of my personality, part of who I am and he just wants me to hack it off to get employed. FUCK THAT! If people are going to turn me down they best have a reason better than 'his hair is too long.' And if a place has a problem with guys having long hair I probably wouldn't wanna work there anyways cause really what kind of tight asses are there still about in this world that would make a piss fit about something like that? I mean really. Oh and then when I came home I got to ride in a convertible for the first time, that was an experience, though they're not exactly built for men of my stature. XD It was either that or wait a couple more hours for my other ride. So... rantrantrant. And end.
